I have a user who's palm pilot sync somehow deleted all his calendar entries in his mail db. I thought the best way to fix this would be to restore the DB to a directory on the server that was not in the server path(avoids replication) and have the user open the restored db and copy and paste his calendar entries from the restored DB to his current db.

My problem is that he cannot open the restored db we get the error "this database has local access protection and you are not authorized to access it locally"

Is there any way for him to access this file?
